Hands-On Grafting Workshop
When: Saturday, March 18th, 10 am – Noon
Where: Bayside (RSVP for more information)
Join us for this interactive look at grafting new and existing fruit trees in Bayside.  Attendees will get introductory instruction on whip and bark grafting techniques with hands-on grafting opportunities. 19th Annual Seed & Plant Exchange
When: Saturday, March 25th, 11 am – 4 pm
Where: Arcata Community Center
Farmers and gardeners are invited to get ready for spring by swapping locally grown and locally appropriate seeds, starts, and plants! As always, bring seeds or plants to share if you have them, but you can take home seeds and plants no matter what you bring. Or you can just come for the live music, free workshops taught by local experts, and a locally sourced lunch. For more information, visit the Facebook event page. Just a few days before the big event, we’ll be having out last meeting to go over final details and sign up volunteers to help at the event itself. Even if you haven’t been involved in planning the event so far, we’d love for you to show up, find out what’s going on, and sign up to help!
