Lloyd Barker aka the Local Worm Guy.
How to utilize worm bins for a vivacious Garden. His
goal is to educate our community on easy practices
for composting with worms that can be used in a small
urban setting or for larger production.

Introduction to Permaculture with Marlon Gil of
Fogwood Design.
This presentation will be a brief introduction to the
principles of “Ecological Design” as outlined in “Gaia’s
Garden” by Toby Hemenway
2-3 pm
“DIY Natural Garden inputs and urban permacultutre”
– Shane Keller of ‘the way of Life’ Urban Permaculture
Farm colaborating with Natural Farmer Preston
Smith. There will be a slide show presentation with
an invite to stop by the farm after the workshop for
more of a hands on education. The ‘ Way of Life’
farm is conveniently 3 blocks away from the Arcata
Community center on the corner of Buttermilk and
Cresent Way in Sunny Brea.
